Profile
Jesus Guevara is an HSE coordinator at Green Infrastructure Partners (GIP). Originally from Colombia, he is an environmental engineer whose early career began in the healthcare sector, working within one of the country’s largest hospitals. That experience helped shape a strong foundation in the protection of people – principles that continue to guide his approach to health and safety today.
Guevara later moved to Canada to pursue a postgraduate diploma in occupational health and safety, further strengthening his expertise in occupational health systems, hazard identification and control, and regulatory compliance. Since 2024, he has been working in the construction industry with GIP, supporting HSE initiatives across major infrastructure projects, including the Ontario Line and Ontario South Line expansions. In this role, he focuses on identifying and mitigating risks, promoting safe work practices, and contributing to a strong, proactive safety culture in high-risk environments.
With a people-first mindset and a strong focus on prevention, Guevara is committed to continuous improvement and professional growth. He is currently working toward his NCSO designation, with the goal of making a meaningful impact by helping create safer workplaces and protecting both workers and surrounding communities.
