Emerson Pupillo is an HSE coordinator at Green Infrastructure Partners (GIP), where he supports compliance and helps promote a strong safety culture across active construction sites.
He began his career in 2013 when he enlisted in the Canadian Armed Forces as an Armoured Crewman. During his service, he developed a strong foundation in discipline, leadership, teamwork, and the ability to perform effectively in high-pressure environments – skills that continue to inform his approach to safety and operations today.
In 2021, Pupillo completed a diploma in massage therapy/therapeutic massage, deepening his understanding of injury prevention, rehabilitation, and overall physical well-being. That same year, he transitioned into a business development role with a recruitment agency, where he built client relationships, identified workforce needs, and supported organizational growth.
In 2025, he pursued further education in occupational health and safety at Niagara College, aligning his diverse experience with his long-standing interest in workplace safety. He later joined GIP’s HSE team as an HSE coordinator, working closely with supervisors, managers, subcontractors, and workers to identify hazards, maintain compliance, and ensure safe work practices are consistently followed.
Pupillo’s career reflects adaptability, accountability, and a continuous commitment to growth and leadership, with a focus on ensuring that every worker returns home safely at the end of the day.
