Ketrina Richer is a dedicated professional in health and safety management. She earned her Diploma in Environmental Technology from Fanshawe College in 2012 and later obtained an Occupational Health and Safety Certificate.
Richer began her career in 2013 as an industrial hygienist technician, where she was introduced to health and safety roles in the workplace. During this time, she became passionate about companies working to keep their employees safe. This passion led her to serve as a quality assurance and health and safety manager in the automotive industry from 2015 to 2019, where she developed her skills in maintaining safety standards and ensuring regulatory compliance.
In 2019, Richer transitioned to the transportation industry, and in 2020, she took on the role of health and safety manager at Transdev. Her commitment to health and safety, combined with her leadership and innovative approach to safety protocols, has significantly contributed to Transdev’s reputation as a safe and reliable transportation provider.
In 2023, Richer’s efforts in workplace safety contributed to Transdev’s subsidiary company, Voyago, being recognized with Canada’s Safest Employer Excellence Award for Public Transportation. This award underscores her dedication to creating and maintaining safe working environments and ensuring that all employees go home safe each day.
Richer’s professional journey reflects her unwavering commitment to health and safety and her ability to lead effectively.

“As the leader of a team, it’s important to motivate and encourage your team members. People work very hard and do their best and it’s important to recognize these efforts. For my career overall, my attitude has been one of curiosity. The more you can learn, the better you’ll understand the business, and then the deeper your knowledge will become, making you a better team member.”

Since joining the firm in 2015, Ryan Specialty has:

“With each acquisition and de novo formation, a large branding component is involved,” says Phillips Topping.
Speaking on the importance of spotlighting marketing professionals, Phillips Topping says, “It’s imperative to shine a light on those who aren’t necessarily brokers or underwriters. There are so many different aspects of the industry. It’s nice to show all the great work that’s being done behind the scenes.”
