Profile
“My strongest professional quality is my ability to build trust and long-term relationships, whether with clients, colleagues, or stakeholders”
Danny Ibrahim,
KeyRate Mortgage
Kim Neddo is the president of Key to Safety and a seasoned health and safety professional with more than 20 years of experience supporting industries across Alberta, British Columbia, Yukon, and the Northwest Territories.
She began her career in construction management and business ownership, where safety was a daily responsibility – not just a policy on paper. That hands-on background shaped her practical, people-first approach to health and safety, grounded in real-world operations rather than theory alone.
Today, Neddo specializes in developing customized health and safety management systems and conducting external COR and SECOR audits that help organizations strengthen their programs and better protect their workers. At Key to Safety, she is dedicated to providing tailored solutions that align with each client’s operational realities while upholding strong compliance standards.
Neddo’s expertise spans the oil and gas, construction, and industrial sectors and includes extensive experience with third-party safety compliance platforms. At the core of her work is a simple belief: every worker deserves to finish their day safely and return home to the people and activities they love.
Outside of work, you’ll often find Neddo hiking, running, reading, or cooking – usually with great music playing in the background.
