Michelle Hruby is a seasoned safety leader with extensive experience in health, safety, and compliance within industrial settings. As the Director of Safety at Conuma Resources, she oversees workplace safety strategies, ensures regulatory compliance, and integrates environmental protections while enhancing operational efficiency.
Before stepping into her leadership role at Conuma, Michelle advanced through key safety positions, including Safety Manager and Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Specialist at Komatsu Mining, where she played a pivotal role in safety program development, contractor management, and incident investigations. She has a deep technical understanding of hazard recognition, risk management, behavioral safety, and compliance auditing.
