For nearly two decades, Erin Schellenberg has been a transformative force in aviation safety, consistently turning challenges into opportunities and advancing safety across multiple organizations. Driven by a deep care for people, she believes safety should be an unshakable cornerstone of every employee’s work and passenger’s travel experience.
Schellenberg has revitalized numerous non-compliant programs, building lasting, functional foundations. Her achievements include developing hundreds of Safe Work Procedures (SWPs) and training programs for multiple companies, the overhaul of a Safety Management System (SMS) through a comprehensive rebuild, and the successful implementation of multiple SMS databases to capture and manage safety performance data. As Vice President of Quality and Safety at Perimeter Aviation, her efforts have enhanced operational safety and ensured continuity in applying safety management processes for the future.
As a thoughtful leader and mentor, Schellenberg has empowered followers and colleagues by sharing expertise, helping many advance their careers in safety roles within the aviation industry. Her approach emphasizes the critical role of compliance, recognizing that each regulation, standard, and expectation exists to safeguard lives and well-being.
