Bianca Calimlim is a safety and data analytics professional with a passion for risk assessment, regulatory compliance, and business intelligence. Currently, as senior HSQA manager, data strategy and analytics at Compass Group Canada, she oversees the collection, analysis, and reporting of safety and quality data. She has built over 15 Power BI dashboards that provide real-time insights, helping to drive safety improvements and operational efficiency.
With a strong background in predictive modeling and statistical analysis, Calimlim works closely with stakeholders to identify risks, optimize processes, and enhance compliance. Her data-driven approach empowers proactive decision-making and strengthens safety strategies across the organization. Before stepping into her current role, she was the QA manager for vendor certification at Compass Group, where she monitored product recalls and food safety compliance, using data analytics to improve vendor management.
Previously, at Maple Leaf Foods, Calimlim led food safety and quality assurance teams, conducted third-party audits, and implemented process improvements based on HACCP, CFIA, and BRC standards. With her expertise in data visualization, reporting, and system development, she’s able to effectively bridge the gap between safety and analytics.
Calimlim is deeply committed to fostering a culture of continuous improvement, ensuring regulatory compliance, and leveraging data to create safer and more efficient workplaces.
