Since beginning her career in 2005, she has consistently demonstrated a relentless drive for excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement.
In 2021, Costanzo took on a new challenge when she was promoted to lead risk management at Contrans Group. As head of the claims team, she plays a pivotal role in managing and mitigating risks, overseeing claims, and ensuring compliance with critical safety regulations. Her proactive leadership and deep industry expertise have been instrumental in strengthening safety protocols and significantly reducing incidents, making the workplace safer for everyone.
Costanzo’s passion for transportation safety goes beyond policies and regulations – she’s motivated by a desire to foster a culture of responsibility, care, and proactive risk management. She firmly believes that prioritizing safety protects not only people and assets but also builds stronger, more resilient organizations. Beyond her professional role, Costanzo actively supports the transportation community as a member of the Toronto Regional Truck Driving Championship committee. This group organizes competitions that showcase the skill and precision of professional drivers, promoting safe driving practices and celebrating excellence on the road. Her involvement reflects her dedication to recognizing and empowering drivers, reinforcing her lifelong commitment to safety across the industry.
