“No matter how many clients I have, I make sure to call each one personally every quarter. It’s a chance to not only update them on their portfolio, but also check on how they’re doing personally”
Kelvin Rampersad,
Carte Wealth Management
As the national director of health and safety management systems at Canada Post, Virginie Tremblay stands out for her pragmatic, problem-solving approach and for always putting health and safety at the forefront. She brings a strategic vision to the organization while fostering collaborative and respectful relationships within and across functions, as well as with union partners.
Whatever the role, Tremblay’s interpersonal skills and experience in the field allow her to successfully position health and safety as a key stakeholder and core team member from the earliest stages of initiatives.
“Occupational health and safety is a very humble career path, with a compelling mission for everyone to make it back home safe at the end of the day to their loved ones and to where it matters most,” Tremblay says.
A licensed member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec with a mechanical engineering degree from the University of Sherbrooke, she has been a Canadian Registered Safety Professional since 2015 and a Certified Human Resource Professional with the Ordre des Conseillers en Ressources Humaines Agrées (CRHA) since 2018.
Dedicated to promoting health and safety at Canada Post, Tremblay’s dedication extends outside work hours, where she volunteers as chair of the Internal Audit Committee for the Board of Canadian Registered Safety Professionals, in addition to volunteering at her local ReStore supporting Habitat for Humanity in Ottawa, where she has lived since joining Canada Post in 2014.
