Ilona Klimczak is a Canadian Registered Safety Professional with more than 22 years of experience, education, and coaching in construction, infrastructure, hydroelectric and municipal government. Having worked in a variety of industries, her experiences have allowed her to become a multifaceted, leading-edge, dynamic, forward-looking, and effective promoter of change. Klimczak ‘s principle focus is on building a strong foundation of trust, diligence, and mentorship, all through having strong moral values and a passion for teamwork. She clearly understands that building a strong team requires an entire village of diversity and skills.
Her goal is to find innovative and attainable safety, environment, and quality solutions to various challenges in diverse environments. Klimczak emphasizes that diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) needs to be prioritized in the workplace by every professional. She takes pride in being an ambassador of change and believes we should all be agents of change, seeking to build cultures of humility and respect in the workplace.
Klimczak is proud to now be Director of Health, Safety & Environment for Peak Construction Group, a mid-size, multi-national construction company in the large-scale residential/commercial sector.
Previously, she was honored to be featured on a panel at ACCIONA’s Global OHS Conference in Madrid, Spain, in 2019.
