Few endorsements in workplace safety carry the weight of a vote from the people who use a product every day. Veriforce Canada has earned that endorsement repeatedly.
Its ComplyWorks and SafeContractor Canada solutions have received Canadian Occupational Safety’s Readers’ Choice recognition in the Contractor Management Solutions category for 11 consecutive years, from 2016 through 2026. For a contractor risk management solution judged by the safety professionals who rely on it, that record speaks to consistency rather than a single strong year.
What safety professionals keep voting for
Behind the recognition sits the company’s core purpose of ensuring that every worker goes home safe at the end of the day. Veriforce Canada treats safety as a critical business function rather than an administrative box to tick, and its strength comes from combining technology, accredited health and safety expertise, and the largest network of contractor and client relationships in the country. The company connects more than 40,000 contractors and 500 hiring clients across Canada’s most critical industries, supported by more than 300 employees from coast to coast. This scale gives customers access not only to Canadian-built technology but also to market insights, best practices, and a community working to raise the standard for workplace safety.
The company’s approach to contractor risk management is designed for the realities of the Canadian market, where complex provincial regulations, evolving safety requirements, and diverse contractor networks make consistent oversight difficult.

Overall
For hiring clients, gaps tend to appear where risk is hardest to monitor, particularly when contractor data is managed through spreadsheets, email chains and manual processes, regardless of contractor size. Veriforce Canada closes those gaps by helping organizations standardize contractor risk management, with bilingual support and expertise that understands regional regulations. This enables clients to manage risk consistently across the entire contractor lifecycle, from qualification and onboarding through ongoing compliance, learning, and performance management.
A connected approach to contractor risk
One of the company’s most important strategic moves has been building a connected ecosystem for contractor risk management. By bringing its solutions – ComplyWorks, SafeContractor Canada, SafeLearning, and SafeEmployee – together under Veriforce Canada, the company has expanded beyond traditional compliance. Its capabilities combine contractor qualification, learning, compliance, and risk intelligence, giving organizations greater visibility and the information they need to make more informed risk decisions. Guided by president Henriette Bichai, this transformation has helped evolve contractor risk management from a largely administrative process into a proactive, data-driven discipline.
This visibility is the outcome that Veriforce Canada’s customers value most. It is proof of assurance that workers are qualified, credentials and training are in place before work begins, and that risks are monitored consistently and supported by reliable information.
As Canada’s most critical industries continue to face evolving regulations and rising expectations around safety and sustainability, Veriforce Canada plans to keep investing in technology, data intelligence, AI-enabled insights, and the local expertise its customers depend on, with one goal unchanged: helping more workers return home safely.
