The University of New Brunswick (UNB) is home to the largest occupational health and safety (OHS) program in Canada, offering a comprehensive suite of certificate and diploma programs to newcomers to the profession and OHS practitioners at all stages of their career. The online, asynchronous delivery format allows learners the flexibility to work at their own pace, making it convenient to balance work, life, and their education.
UNB’s OHS programs are taught by industry experts who blend theory with practical case studies. Learners can immediately apply what they’ve learned to their organizations, making the decision to acquire an education from UNB a strategic investment.
Continuously updating and expanding program offerings, working closely with regional and national safety organizations, and hosting an annual Thought Leaders Dinner with stakeholders in the safety field are just a few of the ways UNB is keeping pace with the advancement of the health and safety sector and the training needs of the workforce.
UNB provides free opportunities for continuous learning and professional development with its annual Let’s Talk Safety webinar series and Knowledge Corner resource hub.
UNB is one of only two institutions offering OHS programs in Canada that are signatories to the Singapore Accord.
