Completing her Occupational Health and Safety diploma in 2020, Scolamiero makes it her goal to ensure the OHS-compliant safety training provided at Touchback maintains quality and consistency to ensure each worker has the tools to get home safely to their loved ones at the end of their work day.

Rodney Paquette joined the team in 2013 and brings a wealth of knowledge in equipment training. You are guaranteed to learn something new even if you have taken the training 10 times before sitting in on his course. Paquette has trained over 50 contract instructors and can tell you exactly what the OHS handbook states without even having to open the book. His presence in the classroom leaves a positive impression on all who have taken his training; students have recognized him outside of work hours just by the sound of his voice.

Since joining the team in 2007, Erin Angelstad has provided exceptional training all over Alberta. With her extensive knowledge in safety and being an NCSO since 2008, she symbolizes what a safety instructor represents, so whether training at your site or in the classroom, this is what keeps Touchback Safety’s clients asking for her by name. Angelstad is also the safety officer and ensures the company is up to date with all standards and legislation.

Touchback Safety set out in 2000 to lead the way in elevated work platform operator safety (EWP). Using extensive knowledge of EWPs and manufacturer-trained instructors, the company developed a quality safety training program for EWP operators that it continues to maintain through its commitment to this program. Based on integrity, quality, and contents that strictly follow the manufacturer’s requirements, provincial regulations, jobsite safety programs, and employer safety programs, Touchback Safety’s certificate is today the most widely recognized certificate from site to site. After this, the company applied for and was granted educational institute status by the federal government.
Touchback Safety became so highly recognized for the quality of training for EWP that its clients requested that the company develop fall protection, confined space entry and monitoring, telehandler, forklift, skid steer, and bucket truck programs. All these programs have been developed and implemented with the same quality and consistency of training as the company’s EWP training.
Touchback Safety has specialized in its field from the beginning and has been providing the best training courses to workers. In turn, this provides a safer workplace for everyone. For this reason, the company is first in class.
Touchback Safety also developed train-the-trainer programs with the same level of expertise, commitment, and integrity.
